- Key functions & working principle
| Working Principle |
1. Power Input: The compressor is driven by the engine camshaft via a gear train. As the engine runs, it drives the compressor crankshaft to rotate. |
| 2. Air Intake & Compression: The rotating crankshaft drives pistons to reciprocate in cylinders. During the intake stroke, atmospheric air is drawn into the cylinder through the air filter; during the compression stroke, the piston compresses the air to the rated pressure (0.8–1.0 MPa). |
| 3. Pressure Regulation: When the system air pressure reaches the preset value, the pressure regulator triggers the unloader valve to open, allowing compressed air to recirculate to the intake side. The compressor runs in an unloaded state to save energy. |
| 4. Air Supply: When system pressure drops below the preset value, the unloader valve closes, and the compressor resumes air compression, supplying compressed air to the machine’s pneumatic system (brakes, air conditioning, etc.). |
