| Working Principle |
1. The sensor is threaded into the hydraulic/fuel line or engine oil gallery, with its diaphragm in direct contact with the pressure media (oil/fuel) |
| 2. Pressure applied to the diaphragm deforms the piezoresistive chip inside, changing its electrical resistance |
| 3. The sensor’s internal circuitry converts this resistance change into a proportional analog signal (0.5–4.5 V or 4–20 mA) |
| 4. The signal is transmitted to the ECU, which interprets the data to adjust system parameters (e.g., pump output, fuel injection timing) |
| 5. If pressure exceeds safe limits (e.g., hydraulic overload), the ECU triggers a warning light on the operator’s dashboard and may reduce engine power to prevent damage |
