Without this protection, debris would quickly cause gear wear, bearing failure, or hydraulic leaks.
2.Absorbs and dissipates heat generated by gear friction and hydraulic operation, preventing overheating of lubricants and internal components. The case’s thick, cast iron walls and large surface area enhance heat dissipation.
