This transfer pulls heat away from the oil, lowering its temperature before it is recirculated back into the engine.

2. Maintaining Optimal Oil Viscosity for Lubrication
Oil viscosity (its thickness or flowability) is critical for effective lubrication: if oil is too hot, it thins out (loses viscosity), while overly cold oil thickens and resists flow. The Komatsu 207-03-76310 oil cooler stabilizes viscosity by regulating oil temperature within a manufacturer-specified range (typically 80–110°C for engine oil).
